The returned token is the cf-turnstile-response value. It is single-use and valid for 120s; we recommend submitting it to the target website within 60s.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the returned token?

The token is the cf-turnstile-response value of the target website's Turnstile component. Simply POST it to the target website along with the form. It is single-use and valid for 120s; use it within 60s if possible.

Is asynchronous processing supported?

Yes. Passing async:true in the request body immediately returns a task_id. Then poll POST /captcha/tasks for the result (recommended once every 3~5 seconds). Creating tasks and polling while "processing" are not charged; you are charged only once when a token is successfully retrieved.

What are action and cdata?

Both are optional parameters. They are needed only when the target website has configured a custom action or cData for its Turnstile component, to precisely match that instance.

Can I bring my own proxy (BYOP)?

Cloudflare Turnstile does not currently support bring-your-own proxies, and this API does not accept the proxy parameter; if provided, it returns 400 invalid_proxy. If you need a proxy egress IP, use the hCaptcha / reCAPTCHA APIs that support BYOP.
